Brian Kopp's 1-70 Alliance Leveling Guide Rated: 10/10
roughly 8 days 20 hours 38 minutes! 1-60 took 5 days 21 hours 2 minutes, and 60-70 was done in less than 3 days. All this was thanks to the guide, and not my skills or experience (read below). For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, Brian Kopp’s 1-70 Alliance Leveling Guide describes the fastest way for any alliance race or class to get to 70 by doing quests. Questing has been proven to be faster than grinding, especially in Outlands, and it’s also a lot more fun. I did all the quests in the guide, except a few before I was level 10. I only had to skip one quest (around level 24) which was too hard. I also had a special power leveling secret that I came up with but had to keep to myself until Brian released it to everyone recently. Yes, it’s now included for new and past customers. Read all about it here: Power Leveling Secrets I chose to play a Night Elf hunter starting in Teldrassil, but there are guides for the other alliance races too, and, in my opinion, all classes can do the vast majority of these quests solo. The hunter has an advantage with his pet, though, and the tracking abilities. If you want to roll a hunter that’s great, because it’s a fun, easy and powerful class both in PvE and PvP. Back to the guide. Here are my reputations as I reached level 60 (hint: they are pretty high): Click here to see reputations As you can see, I don’t have the best gear, and you don’t need to. People are too focused on gear for leveling, but this and Joana’s guide prove that it’s overrated. Be sure to look at the reputations too. I’m half way to exalted with Darnassus, and revered with IF and SW and past friendly with AD and CC. Which means you get cool discounts from vendors (hint: epic mount) and you’re that much closer to getting cross-faction mounts, if you want them. The Outland reputations are decent, too. I’m not going to say much more, because the results speak for themselves. I had never played a Night Elf, never played a hunter, and I never quested to 70 as alliance before so most of the quests were new to me, and Outlands was totally new for me (I never played beta) and yet I got to 70 in well under 9 days on a PvP server with all the ganking taking place. To be fair, I had rested experience at level 30 and again at 45, because I had to take a break from leveling for IRL things, but it would still have been a very good time without it. It was also my first character on the server, so I didn’t give it any gold, gear, or boosting from friends. I just followed the guide. I did use my own gold to pay for help with quests where I needed a group, but that’s fair and square. I also used an alt to auction some stuff from my main, and sent the profits back. I recommend you do the same if you want to level up fast. The contents of this guide are best described by Brian on his site. It’s fully updated for TBC and includes the navigation system I came up with which saved me 10-15 hours /played time easily. Brian is adding more things all the time, too. He’s clearly committed to providing lifetime updates to his guide. Leveling doesn’t get more FUN than with this guide. Don’t be surprised if you enjoy leveling to the point where all you do is level up new characters. It easily deserves 10 stars, and it will never disappoint you.
